Intel PIIX Bus Master IDE Driver:
=====================================
The set of compressed file is provided to allow running Bus Master Mode
IDE HDD on the Intel TX/LX chipsets, under Windows 95 (OSR2).

This Bus Master IDE driver requires that the IDE HDD to be the ULtra DMA
type. Do NOT install this driver if the IDE HDD is not Ultra DMA compliant.

Steps for installing and enabling Bus Master IDE (Ultra DMA) mode :

1.Make sure your HDD is capable of Ultra DMA Mode operation.
2.From BIOS CMOS Setup, locate the section on Chipset Feature Setup,
or Integrated Peripheral Setup. Enable the IDE Channels UDMA Modes
by setting to "AUTO" or "ENABLED".
3.Bootup the system to MS-DOS or Windows. Create a new subdirectory and
copy the compressed file BMIDE_95.EXE to that new subdirectory. Execute
this file within the subdirectory to expand to a number of files for
  installation.
4.From Windows 95 (OSR2), click the Setup.exe file to start the
  installation.
5.Follow the instruction on the screen, and reboot to complete the
  installation.
6.Check from Windows 95 (OSR2) :
  Control Panel/System/Device Manager/Hard disk controller.
To see that the device is changed to show Bus Mastering capability.
7.Check from Windows 95 (OSR2) :
  Control Panel/System/Device Manager/Disk drives/Setting.
Tick the [DMA] from the "Option" checkbox, to allow Ultra DMA mode
  under Windows 95.

Warning :
*******
Do not install the Bus Master IDE driver if the attached IDE HDD is not
capable of Ultra DMA Mode. The data access timing of Ultra DMA mode
is not compatible to IDE HDDs designed for PIO Modes, and may result
in data loss if forced to do so !
