   This file contains additional information and changes about the
   various software that was not available at printing time.

   Manual Correction
   =================

   Install program no longer prompt for any selection and path of Windows
   Application as described in Page 11 & 12 under DOS Setup in the Easy
   Start - Readme Me First manual. Install now copy all the DOS utilities
   and CD-ROM drivers into the user user specified directory in the hard
   disk.

   The "Note:{Perform...}" statement in page 1-2 under Installing MMC section
   in Multi-Media Communicator Software Manual is no more applicable. Prior
   to install the MMC software as listed in this section, please ensure that
   the Audio Drivers for the Telephony sound card is successfully loaded.
   (You need not have to install the MMC software separately if you had
   selected the option to install it during the Audio Telephony software
   installation via SETUP.EXE).

   COMPORT IRQ Setting
   ===================

   Default IRQ setting on the Telephony card has been set to IRQ11 to avoid
   potential hardware conflict when installing in majority of the systems.
   The software has also been configured to work under this configuration.
   If you still encounter hardware conflict (IRQ) with this IRQ setting,
   refer to your system's hardware manual for a conflict free IRQ, set the
   Telephony card to this IRQ setting and modify the content in SYSTEM.INI
   file (under WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory) with the new IRQ setting as follow:

   [386Enh]
   .
   .
   COM4Irq={new IRQ number}
   COM4Base=02E8
   .
   .

   CD-ROM Drive Support
   ====================

   The bundled CD-ROM device driver supports only the following drives:

   Driver           CD-ROM Model
   ------           ------------
   SGIDECD.SYS  -   Aztech CDA268-03I/CDA268-03ISE/CDA468-01I/CDA668-01I

   Using Digital (.WAV) Audio with DOS 6.x's DoubleSpace*
   ======================================================

   The DoubleSpace utility included with DOS 6.x can cause problems
   if you attempt to play or record "high data rate" (i.e.: stereo/
   44.1kHz/16-bit) digital audio to or from a compressed disk.

   Therefore, if you anticipate that you will be playing or recording
   a lot of stereo/44.1kHz/16-bit digital audio, you should set up a
   non-compressed drive partition and configure the audio application
   to use this drive as their Work and Temp directories.

   For information on setting up a non-compressed partition for your
   hard drive, refer to your DOS 6.x Users Guide.

   *The same procedure should be followed if you are using Stacker, a
   third-party disk compression utility.

   Notes About Using EMM386.EXE
   ============================

   When running applications with EMM386.EXE installed, the following
   error message may appear:

      "EMM386 DMA buffer is too small"

   You can overcome this problem in two ways:

      - remove the EMM386.EXE entry from the CONFIG.SYS file

      OR

      - add the following parameter to the EMM386.EXE entry in the
        CONFIG.SYS file:

           D=64

           where D specifies how many kilobytes of memory should be
           reserved for buffered Direct Memory Access (DMA).

        An example of this may be:

           C:\WINDOWS\EMM386.EXE D=64
