PASSW.EXE

PASSW.EXE is another special utility which further improves
system security. This utility is different from the system
password set under the Setup Utility). PASSW.EXE functions
mainly to disable or enable the keyboard when you have
already gained access to the machine. The system password,
on the other hand, covers a larger scope, which is the whole
system in general. You cannot even access the system if you
do not key in your system password after power on.
The system memory does not retain the keyboard password that
you set when the computer is turned off. So every time you
want to use this utility, you must install it and key in a
password. This function runs continuously until the system
is turned off.
