platform.

==================================================================

Known Issues:

The Paste key does not work on Solaris with Java 1.2 -- use Ctrl-V
instead.

The DOS/Command dialog does not automatically disappear when SDM
exits. To enable this function, right click on the object being
used to start SDM (the Desktop icon, Program group entry for SDM
or SDM.bat file) and enable Program -> Close on Exit.

Uninstall on Windows does not remove the Desktop shortcut or Start
program group.

Downloading using the https:// protocols is NOT currently
supported.

Pause and resume are not supported for ftp protocol.

File permissions: SDM uses Java unzip routines which may not reset
all file permissions correctly after unzipping.
Workaround: Select File-->Options and set "Unzip Behavior" to
"Do not unzip...", then unzip files manually using a separate
unzip program.

                Support for the Sun Download Manager

====================================================================

SDM is not a Sun supported product. It is a free product created by
a small team of busy engineers with limited capacity to provide
technical support. Please review the Help file carefully before
requesting assistance -- it addresses most questions and problems.

If you still have questions or bugs to report, please send an e-mail
to SDLC-EXT@sun.com. We may not be able to answer all questions
received but will do our best to get back to you. We also keep a
record of any bugs reported so they can be fixed in a future release.
