Using Keys
GeneralKeys are a one of the main pillars of NextRecall. They represent an information item. Each key has a text value and can contain sub-keys. With this possibilities you are able to build complex hierarchical structures. For instance, a sample structure can look like this:
In the upper case Finance, Car and Computer are Main Keys. They contain Sub-Keys like Internet Provider or Banks, which contain also Sub-Keys. The next paragraphs shows you the basics of Key Managment in NextRecall. You may experiment for yourself to find a good structure to manage your data. Please see the User Interface Reference to understand the terms. Program actions are formatted as italic text. Critical sections will be marked red. Adding KeysAdding a key is very simple. Each key needs a name.
Removing KeysAs everywhere, destroying a button is simplier than creating one. WARNING: All Subkeys within this key will be destroyed!
Changing the name of a keyChanging the name of a key could be useful to rename a data resource.
Saving keys to a fileIf you want to save your data, you must do following steps.
