Internet Search NextRecall contains a powerful Metasearch-Utility. Metasearch means the simultaneous querying for information on several search engines. Currently NextRecall supports this engines: Lycos YAHOO! AltaVista WebCrawler Infoseek OpenText Excite LinkStar The program integrates the searched links into the tree structure. Open the Meta-Search Utility Choose the command "Meta-Search" from the "Key"-Menu. A dialog opens. Choose the Search engines You may choose your favorite search engines by... ...clicking an item twice. ...marking and moving an item via the buttons ...clicking "All" to add/remove all engines to the "Use" list. Entering a Search String You may enter a string in the textfield below the lists. For this text the search engines will be queried. Starting up the Search Click the "Start"-Button to startup the search. The window changes to a status window and a list. By choosing one list item and clicking the "Cancel connection" button, this connection will be aborted. If all data is available, the "Cancel connection"-Button changes to "Close"
