How do I use it?

DownloadMaster allows you painless downloading. Since you use it from your web browser and it's the same browser that you surf with, it's recomended to open a new window for DownloadMaster and keep it open while you're searching files for download.

Adding URL

When you're surfing and find a link to needed file, use right mouse button and choose Copy Link Location or Copy Shortcut. Then go to DownloadMaster Client page (it's convenient to open it in a separate window).

Click on Enter URL field and Paste. If you press Enter, file will be added with no additional questions. If you press Add button, you'll be able to select whether it should be anonymous or non-anonymous download. You can change these settings later by pressing Edit button.

 

Deleting URL

When you save a downloaded file to your hard disk, you should delete it from DownloadMaster files by pressing Delete button. Of course, deleting isn't limited to downloaded files. It's also the way to discard files you don't want to download.

Caution! You can't recover file you have deleted!

 

Editing URL

You can edit URL for file that is already downloading. You can change whether it's anonymous download, username, or password. You can also change URL.

Caution! If you change any of these parameters download will start from the beginning!

 

Getting downloaded files from DownloadMaster server to a local disk

You can't save files directly from a client applet because of security rules. You should press Get downloaded files when files are downloaded. You'll get a list of all downloaded files. Now you only have to hold shift and click on the link or use right mouse button and select option Save Link Location or Save Target As.

Once you transfer file to your local disk you should delete it from server.
Files will be automatically deleted from server after 7 days (your administrator can change this).
