Proxy Panel

Proxy settings can be changed manually by editing file proxy.ini. Proxy settings will take an effect when you restart server, no matter if you changed with Administrator applet or manually.

You can independently turn on or off a proxy for HTTP, FTP, or Socks. You should enter a host name in the address field and port for that proxy in the port field.
'Non proxy hosts' is list of all hosts that shouldn't be loaded via proxy. It's a "|" separated list of entries which conform to the following rules for the host parameter (e.g. "11.22.33.44|.disney.com"). The host may be any of:

  • a complete host name (e.g. "www.disney.com")
  • a domain name; domain names must begin with a dot (e.g. ".disney.com")
  • an IP-address (e.g. "12.34.56.78")
  • an IP-subnet, specified as an IP-address and a netmask separated by a "/" (e.g. 34.56.78/255.255.255.192"); a 0 bit in the netmask means that that bit won't be used in the comparison (i.e. the addresses are AND'ed with the netmask before comparison).
Load and Save
When you select this panel the server is contacted and proxy settings are loaded. You can change the values as you like. When you're satisfied you should press 'SAVE' button to update settings on the server. If you want to revert to settings that are stored on the server you should use 'LOAD' button.
