            Short Description

This Demo Application realizes the Application Scenario
described in the attached documentation.

This Demo Application demonstrates the following:

  - a new Jar archive creation
  - the contents of the created archive
  - adding of files to the archive one by one
  - extracting files from the archive one by one.

To create the application we have used the JarFileAccessor
bean (for work with the Jar file) from the ArchiveAccessor
package, the ExtendedList bean from the Array package (to
display the contents of the Jar archive), and the StatusBar
bean from the UIControls package (to display the status of
the operation with the archive).

How do I start the Demo Application?

Set CLASSPATH for array.jar and uicontrols.jar.
(You can download the Array and UIControls
Beans Library from alphaWorks (www.alphaworks.ibm.com)).
  Call command:

  run_jfa_demo.bat

How do I work with the Demo Application?

First of all, the user should set the name of the directory
from which files will be added to the Jar archive (the
'Default Directory' field).

To create a new Jar archive, press the 'Create Jar-file' button.
When the task is done, the user can see a list of files in the
corresponding list box.

To add or extract file to/from the archive one by one, the user
should firstly enter a name of a file (the 'File Name to
Add/Extract' field) and then press the 'Add file' or
'Extract file' button.

To extract archive the user should enter the archive name in the
