UnFormat V0.13 Beta (C) 2002 - The W0rm -

NOTES
CAUTION: This is a BETA version and it is not recommended that you
run this on any system but a test system. UnFormat has not been
fully tested yet and should not be relied on for good results *yet*.

Note that formatting the drive you just unformatted should
reverse the unformat completely; if an unformat does not succeed
as planned, just re-format the drive and wait for the next version.

Also, no files in the root directory will be recovered due to the
fact that format wipes the root, so root files cannot be recovered
as there are no remains of the original file sizes/locations.

UnFormat has been designed to work on Fat12/Fat16/Fat32 partitions
on any DOS 3.31+ compatible operating system. It will not unformat
hard disk partitions while Windows is running, though it will work on
   a floppy disk.

Scanning an entire hard drive and analyzing each sector takes time,
so please be patient if the system seems to have frozen. The drive
usage indicator light on your system may not even be on while file
recovery is being performed, but this is still a beta and freezes
   are possible.

KNOWN ISSUES
   - UnFormat should not store directories in the directory array
if they do not contain any files, this would speed file
recovery and allow for more directories to be recovered.
   - Some multi-cluster directory linking should be created so
that such directories can be fully recovered.
   - A check needs to be implemented in case a file is spread out
over too many clusters as it may or may not cause problems.
   - Sector read bug when there are no files recovered.
