SOUND COMMANDER Windows 3.1 Sound Drivers
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
( Release Date : 20/08/92 )
This disk contains the latest SOUND COMMANDER device drivers
for Microsoft window 3.1.
There are two sound drivers and an FM driver:
(a) Sound Commander 2.0x
(b) Sound Commander 2.1x
(c) MediaSonic FM II 1.0x Adlib driver
Note : x = driver version
The features of the sound drivers are:
======================================
* 8-bit stereo wave recording and playback.
* Sampling rate from 4KHz to 44.1KHz (mono) or 22KHz
  (stereo). The difference between these two drivers is the
  buffer memory size allocated for the wave files. There are
  4K bytes buffer available in version 2.0x and 8K bytes
  buffer in version 2.1x. If your system has enough memory
  in the window environment, we suggest that you install the
  version 2.1x which will give you better speech performance
  in wave file playback and recording.
The Mediasonic FM II 1.0x Adlib driver allows you to play
Adlib compatible FM music (in mono mode).
